Ok, I have to admit it. I rocked the holidays this year. Everyone seemed to love their presents and as we all know, this does not happen often. So, what better thing to do than share them! Look no further if you need ideas for birthday presents, or gifts for next Christmas (are there really some people out there that do this already?!) Here are my top 6 best gift ideas for tween girls in 2024:

1.The Cuddly Fluffy Blanket

When I saw “blanket” on both of my girls’ wish lists, I was a little surprised. But after seeing them cozy up with them for family movie night, it kinda makes me want one too. They are super soft, surprisingly warm, and I was really impressed with the colours as well. The girls even use them as a bed spread now so needless to say I was pleased how they turned out. They turned out really well and girls even use them as a bedspread. This great gift idea also comes at a great price!

2. Taylor Swift stickers

Any Swiftie fans in your house? My husband almost has all the lyrics down now. 🙂 These stickers are seriously cute and can be used as a stocking stuffer or in a goody bag. They stick easily to personalize an iPad case, or look great on any notebooks, cards or furniture (don’t worry, they peel off easily).

3. Wet brush hairbrushes

Another random present but apparently daily care regimes are in. Luckily hair care falls in this category, right?! These brushes have eliminated 50% of our fights in the morning because are so gentle at getting out tangles in wet or dry hair.

I think I am late to the wet hair brush party but I definitely see what all the hype is about.

4. Friendship Bracelet Maker

Are you noticing a trend? Can we all give Taylor Swift a high five for incorporating this craft into her concert tour?! My girls and I have enjoyed lots of bonding time making bracelets while listening to her music or watching the Era movie. Just note that it doesn’t have the numbers so you might want to buy an extra set if your daughter’s favourite album or song is 1989 or 22.

5. Taylor Swift Merch

I already love Spotify but did you know it sells merch? My husband actually got a notification from his Spotify account and passed it along with a text saying “Christmas present?”. Umm, ya, great idea! Buying from Spotify gave me confidence that it was coming from a legit source, especially when comparing to other online vendors.

It can be tricky to find where to buy it at first. Look up your artist on Spotify, then you will see a tab to switch to merchandise. Once my purchases arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. The t-shirts are super soft and the colours are really vibrant. A great gift idea for girls or any Swiftie fan!

6. Fitbit Ace 3

Much to my daughters’ chagrin, I am still not ready to give them an iPhone or other messaging device. That’s why I love the Fitbit Ace 3. We love that this smart watch could give our girls some of the great fitbit functions without the calls and text features. It has a stylish band that is comfortable to wear, and a fun clock face they can personalize. It counts their steps, has a water lock so they can wear it safely in the bath or pool, and even has a nice alarm.

I will admit, setting it up was painful until I created a new Gmail account for them instead of trying to link it to an existing one. It even sends me a weekly tracking report of their steps and sleep patterns and an email to warn me when the battery is low.
